12月29号下午，应精密机械与精密仪器系吴东老师的邀请，香港中文大学副教授张立在力二楼215多媒体教室为我系师生做了题为“Magnetic Helical Swimming microbots: Design, Manufacturing and Applications”的交流报告，我校感兴趣的师生到场聆听了报告。
张立老师首先介绍了香港中文大学的基本情况，并且对吴东老师的邀请表示感谢。然后张老师从他的博士工作出发，围绕微纳米机器人这一话题，详细介绍了微纳米物体运动形式和驱动方式。张立老师将磁控技术和微纳米制造技术相结合所制造的仿生螺旋形机器人在生物医学工程有着广阔的应用前景。最后，张老师向到场师生介绍了其课题组的最新工作，包括体内螺旋机器人的制造和微纳米粒子的蜂群控制技术。
会后，张老师耐心地解答了老师和同学们提出的问题。报告完毕以后，大家感触良多。吴老师说：“张立老师的科研精神值得我们每个人去学习，在科研陷入困境中时，我们要积极寻找解决办法，而不是听天由命。只要思想不滑坡，办法总比困难多！”此次报告会在大家热烈的掌声中顺利结束。
张立老师简介：
Li Zhang is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering and an associate faculty member in Biomedical Engineering Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Basel, Basel, Switzerland, in 2007. And then, he joined the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland as a postdoctoral fellow until 2009, and as a senior scientist from 2009 to 2012. He joined CUHK as an Assistant Professor in 2012.
His main research interests include micro-/nanorobots and their biomedical applications. He won the Hong Kong Research Grants Committee (RGC), Early Career Award 2013/14, and has received several Best Paper or Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE International Conferences, such as ICRA2010, NANOMED2010, and IROS2012. Dr. Zhang is a senior member of IEEE. Since 2004 he has authored and co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers, includingScience Robotics, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, etc.
